Foundations
You probably already know that the way you eat affects your body, and therefore your health. Nutrition and movement are often seen as the foundation of health. However, there is more involved when it comes to overcoming (hormonal) symptoms.
While we will focus on these essential foundations, such as nutrition and movement, we will also explore the often-overlooked factors that may be influencing your hormones and overall health.
Nutrition as medicine
Meaning using evidence-based nutritional interventions and specific nutrients to restore (hormonal) health.
Movement
We’ll assess your movement habits to identify opportunities for improvement.
Nervous system regulation
Meaning using evidence-based techniques, such as mindfulness and breathwork, to reduce chronic stress.
Biorhythm
Using lifestyle to restore the body’s natural biological rhythms, including sleep-wake cycles, body temperature, and hormone production.
Psychology This includes:
Identifying stressors
Learning how to regulate your emotions
Change unhelpfull behaviour and habits
Finding and addressing unhelpfull negative thoughts
Psycho-education; learning you about your body
Understand how your past experiences impact your behaviour and current health issue
Lab work
We may use additional laboratory testing or other measurable parameters alongside our therapy sessions if considered necessary for the treatment process.
For example: vitamin deficiencies, blood glucose, hormones or body temperature.
ROMEE works with various certified laboratories worldwide. If you already have laboratory results from your doctor or specialist, these can also be incorporated into our sessions.
